For the past 8 weeks we have been preaching through a series called "Moral Guidelines."  Galatians 5:16-26 gives us great insight into the battle that rages inside of every Christian; the war between the flesh (old sinful nature), and the Spirit (the new nature of a believer).  The nature you feed the most is the one that is going to dominate and control your life.  The Apostle Paul gives us a detailed list of the works of the flesh and fruits of the Spirit.  This series has really addressed some of the hottest topics in our culture today as well as some of the greatest temptations our teenagers are facing.  It has been a blessing to see how the Word of God, written so long ago, is still relevant in today's world for today's people.   Sermon notes are listed below:

Beginning on January 6th we will begin a brand new series on Wednesday night with our students entitled "Character Counts."  I hope that you will make every effort to be a part of this great series!!!!

Godly character seems to be almost something of the past, but regardless of what the world may say, godly character is something God still wants His children to practice.  Character is defined as doing the right thing the right way.  That doesn't mean that it is always going to be easy, but in the long run, it will be worth it!!  I hope that you will accept the challenge and dare to live a courageous life of character for the glory of the Lord!!!  Sermon notes are on the way.

Well we have finished our "Facts of the Faith" series and I must say it has been one of my favorites.  It is so important for all of us as Christians to know what we believe and why we believe it.  The content of this series will give anyone a better ability to do what Peter wrote about in I Peter 3:15 "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you with meekness and fear;"  It is my prayer that we will be able to defend our faith with confidence and assurance.  God has given us exactly what we need in the pages of Scripture to do so!  Are you willing?

Immodesty is something that if you aren't careful, could assume is natural considering the culture in which we live.  "Modesty is a Must" is a series that we have been looking forward to starting for several weeks and I am pleased to say that it is finally here!!!  Each week we will hearing from adults "from the outside looking in" so to speak.  They will share a brief testimony concerning modesty and their persprective on it.  In addition, Pastor Bryan will deliver a message from God's Word concerning Modesty.  Week one will cover an introduction to Modesty, weeks two and three will high light Modest living for both guys and girls, and then the final week will cover a conclusion on Modesty and how that applies to not only the way we behave & dress, but how we view our bodies!  Hope that you will come and join us!!!
