Ecclesiastes 4:9 & 12 NIV Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

“Women of Grace” is YOU! Every woman who is a member or regular attendee of Grace Baptist is part of Women of Grace. Our desire is to provide an atmosphere of friendship, opportunities for discipleship and fellowships to build lasting relationships. We host a variety of activities during the year and encourage all of our Woman of Grace to participate in any or all events. Our prayer is that you will experience God through this union of Christian Women who consider you a vital part of the family of God and fellow Sister in Christ.
We Celebrate Women at special brunches with unique invited quests. We embrace Motherhood with Mother/Daughter Teas. We Celebrate the Birth of Our Lord and Savior with Christmas Dinner. We retreat overnight at an off-site venue to unwind from the Holidays and engage in the New Year. We read selected Christian books then gather monthly for discussion and fellowship. We bake and deliver cookies in gratitude and appreciation. We gather to wrap and pack shoeboxes for children who would not otherwise receive God’s Love at Christmas. We sponsor and participate in Discipleship Classes & Bible Studies and grow stronger while we develop mentors and friendships. We pray for each other, share each other’s burdens and rejoice in each other’s good times. We are Women of Grace and we are here for you. So, join us and experience the Love of God through Women of Grace.
Women’s Bible Studies
We offer Tuesday Morning Bible Studies (with childcare provided) and Wednesday Night Studies. Each quarter different selections of studies are available.
Cookie Ministry
We have an exciting ministry with cookies!! Each week all our visiting families receive a basket of homemade cookies delivered to their home from our Women’s Ministry. We have monthly captains and bakers to prepare and deliver the baskets. All the basket materials are made available to each captain the first of the month and they in turn contact their bakers for the week. It is our way of welcoming our visitors in an unthreatening way. We also give our cookie baskets to our shut-ins or those experiencing a long recuperation period from surgeries or extended illnesses. Help us spread God’s Love in “thanking those who visited Grace” and in letting those hurting or disabled to know that we are praying and missing them.
Missions
We have so many opportunities available to us!! Come explore us the packing of the shoeboxes for Franklin Graham’s Christmas Shoebox Ministry in November. We wrap and pack shoeboxes with candy, toilet articles, little toys, socks, etc. for children around the world who will not receive anything else for Christmas. This is a beautiful way of expressing God’s Love to others. We collect the items to be packed and then wrap & pack the boxes in the Fellowship Hall to prepare the boxes for shipping.
We prepare goodie baskets for the Columbia County Firefighters and Sheriff’s Department. We come to the Church to bake the goodies and package them for delivery. This is our way of saying “thank you” to them for a job well done in keeping our County safe and secure. The more help, the better!!
