Prayer is a direct communication   God of the universe and is probably the greatest and most amazing privilege a Christian has.  Christians are given guaranteed, direct access to God's ear by praying in the name of Jesus Christ (John 16;23-24).  How empowering this thought is, yet how often do we neglect this privilege without being prompted by some catastrophic event in our lives.  We engage in conversation with friends, love ones and even strangers on a daily basis so how much more should we reach out to the God that created us in prayer.

While we are instructed not to pray in public in a prideful manner (Matthew 6:5-6), how encouraging it can be to lift up an issue in agreement with other believers or to pray for the needs of a fellow believer or to verbally hear someone pray for you.  We invite you to join us at 7:45 A.M. on Sunday mornings and 6:00 A.M on Wednesday mornings at the Cracker Barrel in Evans for Men's prayer time...a time of prayer, petition and thanksgiving.  Come and be blessed.  Call the Church Office at 706-868-9729 for more information.
