Adult Choir
Our Grace Baptist Church Adult Choir is a very important part of our weekly worship. It is our desire to lead God's people into the presence of the Lord each and every week using the medium of music. We have a variety of opportunities for the musically gifted to use their gifts for the Lord.
Vision Statement
To lead Grace Baptist Church to worship in spirit and in truth with passion, freedom, energy, and excellence, being consistent and creative in preparing people for the Word of Truth.
Goals
- To be passionate about Jesus Christ and the worship of Him.
- To have freedom to worship however the Lord leads, not worrying about what someone else will say.
- To exude energy, excitement, and the “Joy of the Lord” in praising Him privately and corporately, empowered by the Holy Spirit working in and through His children.
- To sing and play everything with excellence, not doing anything second best. Christ deserves our very best, and nothing less will do.
- To be consistent with our daily walk with Christ, exhibiting to others that we have an ongoing relationship with the Savior; to be consistent so that our talk matches our walk; and to be consistent in practice and our commitment to the body of Christ.
- To be creative in leading people to the throne of God, since not everyone worships the same way. We need to create an atmosphere for His presence to do the work.
- To help prepare God's people for the life-changing power of God’s Word.
- To respond in obedience to God's call on our lives.
Grace Praise Band
Each week the Grace Praise Band leads us in worship with the goal to provide an outlet for musicians to play their instruments for the Lord and lead others into the presence of God. The Grace Praise Band is open to all individuals who play an instrument. Rehearsal is Sunday at 8:30 AM in the church sancturay.
