Our mission is to serve the pastor, staff and the body of Grace Baptist Church in a manner that reflects the Love that Jesus Christ has humbly and unselfishly shown to us through His Word. To walk with a pure heart, a clean conscience, and a sincere faith.
Matthew 22:37 - To love the Lord our God with all of our heart, with all of our soul, and with all our mind.

Dear Grace Family and Friends,
I trust you've enjoyed the richest blessing of God this week. We are so blessed; as a nation, a community, a Church and as individuals. My fear is that we take God's blessing for granted and don't even realize it. That was clearly demonstrated this past Sunday when, at 10:00 AM, the power went out. Some asked, "Can we have Church for 500 people without electricity?" Thanks to Georgia Power's quick response we didn't have to find out. I will confess to being a bit disappointed. It would probably be good for us to meet for worship from time to time without all the modern conveniences. Doing so would make us instantly aware of all we take for granted. Most assume we are entitled to a life of ease such that when something interrupts it we get angry. That same mindset carries over into our spiritual lives. We assume we're entitled to "God's blessing." That explains our insatiable appetite for more and bigger and better! "We deserve the very best!" According to Scripture, the only thing we deserve is separation from God forever and ever. That's because we're all sinners and the wages of sin is death! What we are experiencing is an expression of the grace and goodness of God. It's great, isn’t it? We dare not squander it by allowing "the blessing" to become more important to us than "the Blesser!" It's easy to fall into that trap. Once there, it takes the power of God to set us free. How about it? Do those we interact with on a daily basis see us as focused on The Lord Jesus Christ or something else? It may be a painful question to answer but we need to know the truth. Until we recognize the problem, it will continue to get worse. Once we do recognize it, we have the power of God within to correct our fault. Are we willing? Nothing more is needed! I love you and am honored to be your Pastor. God Bless You!
